Waterproofing contractor software
Built inside a waterproofing business, for the way waterproofing work is actually measured and billed.
How a waterproofing contractor actually bills
Your BOQ items are areas and lengths: square feet of membrane, running metres of joint treatment, injection points, coats of coating. A bill is a measured quantity against one of those items, and the client’s QS will check it against what was billed before.
Three problems specific to this trade
- The work disappears under the next trade. Once screed or tiling goes over your membrane, the only proof it was done to specification is the record you made at the time.
- Rectification is indistinguishable from new work unless the original measurement, date and zone are on record — which is what decides whether it is chargeable.
- Material consumption is the margin. Coating and membrane are the cost, and if drums reach a site without being attached to a project, the job’s cost is wrong.
The chain, in your vocabulary
Work order and BOQ, then measurement sheets per zone, then an RA bill with a cumulative position. Alongside it: daily muster for the crew, overtime approved rather than argued, and material requests and purchase orders tied to the same project.
Work orders, BOQ and RA billing are included from the Professional plan. Attendance, labour and payroll are available from Starter.
