Plumbing contractor software
Pipework progress, coordination delays and material, recorded against the project.
Plumbing contractors run on Buildem One's shared project, site-reporting and procurement workflows, configured with their own stages.
Running metres and numbers
Pipework is priced in rmt, and fixtures and fittings by number. On the Professional plan, BOQ lines carry their own unit, and a BOQ can be loaded in bulk.
Waiting on the work around you
Plumbing can wait on a front that has not been released or on another trade. The daily progress report has delay reasons for Engineering or Front Release Delay and for Interdepartmental Coordination Delay, so the cause of a lost day is on record.
Permits for the work
Hot Work and Confined Space permits are raised in the system with the other site permits.
Pipes and fittings
Pipes and fittings are requested, ordered and received through the shared material workflow, and stock shows what remains on site.
Stages in your own words
Stages are set by each contractor in Settings. Pipe installation is a default stage; a plumbing contractor might add:
- Marking
- Chasing
- Pipe installation
- Pressure testing
What this uses
- BOQ
- BOQ lines in rmt and nos, with bulk upload (Professional plan).
- Permits
- Hot Work and Confined Space.
- Material
- Pipes and fittings through purchase orders and stock.
This describes how Buildem One’s shared workflows fit this trade. It does not include pressure-test records or certificates, isometric drawings, fixture schedules. BOQ, work orders, measurement sheets, RA bills and customer tax invoices are part of the Professional plan. See all industries.
